WHAT IS ONE-ON-ONE MENTORING?
The One-on-One Mentoring program was first run during the 2016-2017 school year as a way to create relationships with teens and adults where they would have a safe place to talk and receive guidance. Since this first year, the program has adapted to create even more opportunities for teens and mentors to connect – now through one of two tracts that run November through May.
The Life Skills mentoring track is designed for teens to learn about communication, decision-making, shopping, transportation (both public and private), jobs, best-practice shopping techniques, and more.
The Discipleship mentoring track is designed for Christian teens to learn about prayer, Bible study, spiritual disciplines, and serving others in order to grow their relationship with Christ
